We offer three workshop types currently: Make a Silver Ring; Make a Silver Bangle and Make a Silver Stacking Ring. A number of bookable dates will be listed under each workshop type. Simply select the date you will like to book and follow the simple steps to complete the booking. If you need any help please don't hesitate to contact us (we check our email regularly and aim to respond to all queries within 24 hours). The workshops are scheduled all year apart from October to December in the build-up to Christmas. There are 2 or 3 dates available to book for each workshop type. More dates may be added when these initial dates fully book (this not guaranteed and is subject to availabilty). We can also arrange private group or corporate group sessions. Please contact us to discuss when you would like to arrange a private group date.

Our 2026 workshops will be held in a new venue - the lovely and welcoming Saplinbrae Hotel & Lodges.

This hotel is situated just outside the town of Mintlaw in Abrrdeenshire. The Saplinbrae is a cosy family run hotel that serves the most delicious food made with great care using local, fresh produce. It is well worth trying to book a table in advance of your workshop for lunch or dinner. Please contact the hotel direct to book. Accommodation options are also available.

Our workshops are primarily designed for adults aged 18 and over.

Participants aged 16+ are welcome to attend when accompanied by a responsible adult who is also taking part in the workshop. This helps ensure there is additional support for health and safety during the class.

Private workshop dates can also be arranged for teenagers attending with adults. Please get in touch with us directly to discuss suitability and to arrange a private booking.

If we ever need to cancel a workshop due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be offered either a full refund or the option to move your booking to another date.

As our classes run in small groups, we’re unable to refill places at short notice, so cancellations made within 30 days of the workshop date cannot be refunded or transferred.

In exceptional circumstances, cancellations may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Yes - we’re delighted to host private workshop groups for big birthday celebrations, special occasions, or corporate away days.

Private workshops are priced per person at the same rate as our public classes. To book a private date, we require a minimum of 5 participants, or the equivalent cost of 5 places if your group is smaller.

Workshops typically last around 3.5 hours and can be tailored to suit your group. A range of catering and accommodation options are available at Saplinbrae Hotel & Lodges. We are very happy to help arrange extras such as lunch after the workshop, or an afternoon tea served and enjoyed during the class.

Our regular workshops are designed around working with sterling silver, which allows us to offer a relaxed, beginner-friendly experience.

Working in gold can be arranged as part of a private workshop. Gold workshops are priced significantly higher due to the higher material costs, with prices typically starting from around £300 per person, depending on the gold price and the style of piece you’d like to make.
